Welcome to the Floral Plus Pottery Workshop at Floristry Art Of Living! This unique workshop combines the art of flower arrangement with the creativity of pottery. Join us for a fun-filled day where you will learn how to create beautiful flower arrangements and make your own flower vessel out of clay.
Workshop Agenda
1. Introduction (10:00 AM - 10:15 AM)
Welcome participants and introduce the instructors.
Provide an overview of the workshop and its objectives.
Explain the materials and tools that will be used.
2. Flower Arrangement Techniques (10:15 AM - 11:30 AM)
Learn about different types of flowers and their characteristics.
Discover various flower arrangement techniques and styles.
Get hands-on experience in creating a unique floral design using seasonal flowers.
3. Introduction to Pottery (11:30 AM - 12:00 PM)
Introduce participants to the basics of working with clay.
Demonstrate hand-building techniques for creating flower vessels.
Discuss different pottery tools and their uses.
4. Pottery Session: Making Your Flower Vessel (12:00 PM - 1:00 PM)
Provide each participant with a block of clay and necessary tools.
Guide participants in shaping and molding their own flower vessels.
Offer personalized assistance and advice throughout the pottery session.
5. Lunch Break (1:00 PM - 1:30 PM)
Take a break and enjoy a complimentary lunch provided by Floristry Art Of Living.
Take the opportunity to connect with fellow participants and share experiences.
6. Floral Arrangement in Your Handmade Vessel (1:30 PM - 2:00 PM)
Once the flower vessels are dry, demonstrate techniques for arranging flowers directly in the handmade vessel.
Assist participants in selecting appropriate flowers and arranging them harmoniously in their handmade vessels.
Provide tips on flower care and maintenance.
Workshop Requirements
All participants must be 18 years of age or older.
No previous experience in either flower arrangement or pottery is required.
Please dress comfortably and bring an apron to protect your clothing.
Registration and Fees
Registration for the Floral Plus Pottery Workshop is required due to limited availability.
The workshop fee is $750 per person.
